Hi Sandy, I stumbled upon this "Operation Photo Rescue" to help flood damaged victims and I am so happy to see this problem finally being addressed. I've been involved in flood restoration in the Los Angeles area for almost two decades now (mainly the mudslides when they happen) and photos are one of the things no one ever thinks of ahead of time. If they're lucky they though about flood insurance, etc, but not the other things like photos which are priceless. I always recommend now that we're in the digital age to scan photos and store them in your online email or some other system you can upload them to.
