Sandy, thanks for drawing attention to those little details that make all of the difference in the world! Happy Bathroom Blogfest 08!

I took your advice and looked around my house. I didn't like what I saw. I'm a keen gardener and much prefer gardening to housework, so after a summer in the garden, things indoors are a little neglected. Better get the rubber gloves out. Hey-ho!

I make sure to clean up in the bathroom at the office whenever I'm in there, the cleaning crew only comes once a week The thought of a client using the bathroom and it being even remotely dirty is too much to bear.

I always clean the bathroom and I always forgot to clean one part--and would you believe that it is the door? I also noticed the dust on window jambs and the back of my computer table... I have to list them so I won't forget next time. Thanks for sharing these blogs. :)

This is a great idea! I do not know how many times I have been at a business and was turned off by those little things or lack of them in some cases. And yes it did affect my opinion on going back.

Great blog. I agree with you completely. I cannot stand it when I go into a public restroom and it is not clean. Normally that is enough to make me never return to that place again. This was my first visit to you blog. Keep up the great work.

As someone that builds websites, I'd like to point out that all of the above tips can be applied to online visual clutter as well!

Sandy, I took your advice and had a good look through our offices. Paying attention to detail is the most important thing when you are in business. Something as simple as a customer not flushing the toilet after themselves can create a bad image for your company when the next customer enters.

Yeah, that bathroom could use a new upgrade, including a new sink, mirrors, and perhaps even some toto toilets

It's good there are someone taking attention on these little things. A lot of establishments just construct their restrooms like you're there taking a pee and that's it. Dirty restrooms matters a lot to customers... :D

I never heard of Bathroom Blogfest before, what a neat concept. I remember when I worked in retail that our store had a really nice bathroom, that would just be a mess by the end of the day.
